Toodly

Terms of use

Last updated 21 September 2026

Short version: use Toodly for your own tasks, pay for Pro if you want the extras, and do not try to break it. The long version is below.

The agreement

These terms are between you and Digital Highrise Ltd, registered in England and Wales. By using Toodly you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the app.

Your account

You can use Toodly without an account. If you make one, keep your password to yourself and tell us at hello@toodly.app if you think someone else has it. You must be 13 or older.

Your tasks are yours

Everything you write in Toodly belongs to you. We store it so the app can show it to you on your devices, and we do not sell it, read it for advertising or train anything on it. You can export it or delete it at any time.

Toodly Pro

Shared lists

If you invite someone to a list, they can see and change everything on that list. Only invite people you trust. You can remove a member, and they can leave, at any time.

Fair use

Please do not use Toodly to break the law, to store someone else's private information without their permission, to attack or overload the service, or to take the app apart and resell it.

What we promise, and what we do not

We work hard to keep Toodly running, but it is provided as it is. We cannot promise it will never be down, never lose a sync or always be bug free. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. The export button in the app makes that easy.

If something goes wrong

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law says cannot be limited. Beyond that, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem, or £100 if you paid nothing.

Ending it

You can stop using Toodly and delete your account whenever you like. We can close an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why unless the law stops us.

The legal bits

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts there have jurisdiction. If we update the terms, the app will say so before the change applies.
